Hair clogs are sneaky. What starts as a slow drain can turn into a fully stopped shower before you know it. And once a hair clog gets compacted deep enough, it's not something a store-bought drain snake or a bottle of liquid drain cleaner is going to fix.
This one was already at that point. Another plumber had taken a shot at it and couldn't get it cleared. That's where we came in. We ran our cable down through the drain and pulled the blockage back - the whole matted mass of it. That's the only way to actually solve the problem. You're not just punching a hole through it and hoping for the best. You're removing it.
The cable does the heavy lifting here. It grabs onto the hair and lets us extract it rather than push it further down the line. Once it was out, water drained freely again. No standing water, no backup. Done.
If your shower or tub is draining slowly - or not at all - it's worth getting it looked at sooner rather than later. A slow drain almost never fixes itself, and the longer it sits, the more compacted that clog gets. We serve Davis, Sacramento, Roseville, and the surrounding areas.
