A lot of homeowners deal with tap water that tastes off - whether it's chlorine, sediment, or just that hard water flavor. Buying bottled water gets old fast, and countertop pitchers are a hassle. This customer wanted a real, permanent fix. So we got to work.

We installed a new pull-down kitchen faucet alongside a dedicated Aquasana reverse osmosis drinking water faucet right at the sink. The setup gives them two separate water sources - one for everyday kitchen use, one specifically for clean, filtered drinking water. No more reaching for the fridge filter or hauling in a case of bottles.

The Aquasana RO system itself lives neatly under the sink. It runs water through a three-stage filtration process - Stage 1 is a carbon block, Stage 2 is the SmartFlow membrane that handles the actual reverse osmosis, and Stage 3 is an advanced carbon block for a final polish. The storage tank sits tucked in the cabinet corner and holds filtered water ready to go whenever you need it. The whole under-cabinet setup is clean and organized, which makes future filter swaps easy.

What makes RO worth it is what it actually removes. That SmartFlow membrane filters out contaminants that standard carbon filters won't touch - things like lead, arsenic, fluoride, and dissolved solids. The water that comes out of that dedicated tap tastes noticeably different. Cleaner. Fresher. Customers notice it right away.

This is one of those upgrades that genuinely changes how you use your kitchen. If your tap water has never tasted quite right, or you've been relying on bottled water for years, a setup like this is worth looking into.
